Action plan on climate change

The Icelandic government recently approved an action plan on climate change which stipulates reduction in net release of climate change gases by up to 30% by 2020 through ten key actions. The Minister of finance has already put forth a bill in Parliament concerning one of the key actions, which is changing the structure of taxes and levies on automobiles.
